a trauma-informed vision for the future of our communities
Established in 2021, OPTIC is a nonprofit organization that addresses the growing mental health crisis impacting our communities, as well as the lack of available resources. We believe that by educating community members about managing toxic stress and unresolved trauma, we can support one another and heal collectively, thereby rebuilding our communities and creating a brighter, healthier future from the heart out.
The mission of OPTIC is to rebuild healthy communities by providing education, training and resources to our community members and healthcare professionals.

Business & Industry
OPTIC’s goal is to change industry standards to accommodate for what it means to be human in an extremely high-stress world and still be successful.
Stress and anxiety becomes debilitating and can wreak havoc in the workplace. Our training takes a brain science approach to understanding the individual stress response and how we can take back control of our emotions and overall wellness.
According to The National Institute of Mental Health…
